ForewordI have just completed making my first accordion. I made everything myself, apart from the reeds. The whole task would have been a a lot easier if I had been able to find a suitable reference work. I intend to make a few more accordions, which I hope will much better than my first effort. I have decided to create this site to gather together useful information for amateur accordion makers around the world. |

Your ContributionThe idea is for anybody who has knowledge of accordion making to make a small contribution, and we will soon be able to build up a complete work of reference. Everybody gets a credit, but nothing else, this project is for pleasure; not profit. Please send your contributions to: Stephen McKelvey, 19 Larch Close, Sprowston, Norwich, NR7 8LE, England. Simple text files are best, and lots of pictures please (probably JPEG). There is a provisional list subject headings. Alternatively you may be able to answer some the questions that have been sent in.
