Accordion Makers Resource Site

Foreword

I have just completed making my first accordion. I made everything myself, apart from the reeds. The whole task would have been a a lot easier if I had been able to find a suitable reference work. I intend to make a few more accordions, which I hope will much better than my first effort. I have decided to create this site to gather together useful information for amateur accordion makers around the world.

Your Contribution

The idea is for anybody who has knowledge of accordion making to make a small contribution, and we will soon be able to build up a complete work of reference. Everybody gets a credit, but nothing else, this project is for pleasure; not profit. Please send your contributions to:

webmaster@piedaterre.me.uk

Stephen McKelvey, 19 Larch Close, Sprowston, Norwich, NR7 8LE, England.

Simple text files are best, and lots of pictures please (probably JPEG).

There is a provisional list subject headings.

Alternatively you may be able to answer some the questions that have been sent in.
